On October 29, a homicide occurred at kilometer 38+200 of the Mexico - Pachuca highway, where three men and two women lost their lives. A subsequent investigation led to a raid carried out in the early hours of this Thursday, involving various authorities such as the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), the Secretariat of National Defense (Defensa), the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the National Guard (GN), and the Attorney General's Office of Justice (FGJ) of the State of Mexico.
During the raid, the detention of Ismael "N" and Yolanda "N" was achieved, considered responsible for ordering the armed attack on the Bling Bling bar in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico on November 10. The capture of both individuals took place at a residence located in the community of Metlaltoyuca in the municipality of Francisco Z. Mena, Puebla, where an arsenal was secured, including firearms, substances similar to cocaine, and telecommunication equipment.
In the words of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, "As a result of technical tracking of violence-generating groups in the State of Mexico, the operation of a criminal cell linked to the aggression at the bar was detected, where six people lost their lives and five were injured." Ismael "N" was identified as the leader of this criminal cell, responsible for coordinating criminal activities in the State of Mexico, Puebla, and Mexico City, including drug dealing, extortion of public transport, and homicides.
The investigation revealed that the attack on the Bling Bling bar was motivated by a dispute with another criminal organization for control of drug sales and operational areas. The criminal cell is also linked to the homicide of a man and injuries to a woman that occurred in September on the Mexico-Pachuca federal highway. Ismael "N" had previously been in penitentiary centers and was released this year, which allowed him to resume his criminal activities.
